Appearing on stage tonight is Brünnhilde coming all the way to you from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps to entertain you with her bedazzling performance! As an extra treat, we will pay you to stay in your seat until the fat plump lady has stopped singing! For your comfort, earplugs are encouraged!

Twisted Card

The mother of a very close friend of mine just celebrated her 95th birthday which absolutely called for a card although she probably should have received a case of champaign in honor of the notable event. When I saw the twisted card tutorial my very crafty online friend, Joan Ervin from Stamping with a Passion, posted on her blog, I knew exactly the card I wanted to make. My friend's mother may not have a case of champaign, she does have a bookmark filled with the best of happy birthday wishes!

Hanging with Friends

If you look closely at Just Inklined's newly released Hanging with Friends, you will see that the female bat is blushing purple because a bat that she is head-over-heels about has suspended himself on the same branch and he's looking right at her. Naturally she's being very coy and pretending not to notice while hoping he doesn't see her purple ting in the moonlight. Seems it doesn't matter what the species is, it's always the same story, the female chases and then pretends not to be interested!

Easy Elegance

You don't have to spend tons of time creating a beautiful card when you have pretty cardstock to start with. My card today is simple and easily created using the gorgeous Teal Basic 80# cardstock from the PaperTemptress, add your choice of stamp for a focal point and a dash of matching pearls to finish. Easy and can be used for many occasions!

Where's Willy

Poor Willy, he gets lost trying to find his lunch in his lunchbox but recently his sweetheart talked him into driving her three states away to visit her sister. Willy plotted the route and they were all set to go except for one fact, his sweetheart forgot to tell him that her mother would be driving with them and in fact, she would sit in the front seat and be the navigator! The trip went smoothly all the way to the end of the driveway and then it happened, they were lost and they hadn't even picked up mother! Better luck next trip Willy!

Today is Dude Time Doodles' New Release Blog Hop and Where's Willy is part of the new images joining the family from Bonibleaux Designs. If you've been hopping along, you should have come from Charlene's blog and your next stop is to see what Dawn has up her crafty sleeve. If you've just started the hop, keep moving from blog to blog and you will see all the new images but be sure to leave a comment at each stop because one lucky commenter will receive an image from Dude Time Doodles.

Stella Birthday - Old Fart

Mr. Wool Daisy

Wow, is it me or does it seem that the closer we get to Christmas, the faster the weeks are flying by? I swear yesterday was Monday! But according to the calendar, today is Monday and time for a new Squigglefly challenge to begin. This week Holley's Hobbyists are hosting and the challenge is to Go to the Corner - - use a fun decor in the corner with a die cut, embellishment, punch or whatever else pleases you. For my card I used Squigglefly's amazing artist, Sandy Sommerfeld's sweet little Mr. Wool Daisy and added a sentiment and a few daisies. So get inky and share your creation with us. Just remember, to win a prize you must use a Squigglefly image and if you don't have one, grab one of their freebies!

Rolling in the Deep

Bet you didn't know that in July 2012, the National Ocean Service, a branch of the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, stated that "no evidence of aquatic humanoids has ever been found".  What nonsense! Obviously Dr. Digi's House of Stamps differs with that opinion and actually had the pleasure of meeting one and she very happily posed long enough for Rolling in the Deep to be completed!  So there you have it. If someone tells you that there is no such thing as a mermaid, feel free to tell them in no uncertain terms that they are wrong!

The time is near when all witches start preparing for the yearly conclave where they share lively discussions about the latest news in spells and potions and get to test drive the latest models of self-propelled brooms. Which witch will attend is decided upon a poplar vote so any sorceress with aspirations to move up in the world starts wining and dining their community about now.  Morgan from Papelitos Digial Stamps is counting on getting to the meeting and has prepared a lavish all-you-can-eat buffet to increase her popularity and sway votes in her direction! If you are undecided, you should definitely accept her invitation but plan on eating before going since Morgan absolutely cannot cook!

Today I would like you to meet the gorgeous temptress Esmeralda, one of the recently released Halloween images from Just Inklined! A word of warning, do not look directly into her eyes, she will cast a spell on you and it won't be pleasant!

And speaking of new releases, Just Inklined has added beautiful Christmas Tradition scrapbook papers.

I'm going to Paris and Rome . . . sort of!

My dear sweet friend is taking her two daughters on a trip to Paris and then on to Rome. Naturally the occasion called for a card to wish them each safe travels. But I also had an ulterior motive. By my thinking, if I made them each a bookmark to slide in a book they will no doubt take along to help pass the time on their flights, in a very real sense, I would also be making the trip with them! My only concern is what if they misplace their bookmarks, does that mean I won't get home?

Garret Guard

Sadly, my offsprings have become diverse in which football team they favor much to my dismay. But I remain steadfast and loyal in my support for the Eagles! So naturally, Garret Guard, is decked out in the colors of those soaring birds and is for Dude Time Doodles' new inspirational challenge that starts today to use a sentiment or greeting. We are very pleased to have Create with TLC as our sponsor who is generously giving a $10.00 gift certificate. As for my errant children that have thrown their team support elsewhere, beware, your inheritance of millions and millions and millions of dollars is in jeopardy!

Did You Say Face Lift

Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals are the hosts for the new Squigglefly Halloween challenge that starts today, be sure to visit for all the details.  I didn't use a Halloween image instead I used Did You Say Face Lift by Squigglefly's artist Lynne Stansberry! Isn't she just a hoot! If I didn't share a similar appearance, I'd laugh out loud!

Slugger Sam

Batter up and next in the line is Slugger Sam, from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. Will he hit the ball? Probably not! If he does it will be the first time he has ever connected his bat with a ball in all the years he's been playing baseball! In fact, he has a perfect record, no hits, no runs and no errors!

Super Pig

Super Pig from Squigglefly's artist Christine Grove makes me laugh.
I hope you have the same reaction!

Sleepy Owl

I do not live in the woods but I am frequently visited by a groundhog and an opossum that is until recently when I looked out the door and there sat a skunk! One thing I have never seen in my young life is an owl except in pictures.  Obviously Just Inklined's amazing artist that created Sleepy Owl has been privileged to witness such beauty in real life!

Wanda Witch

I love, love, LOVE Halloween! To kick off the haunting season, I used Wanda Witch, this month's freebie for September's Guest Designer/Freebie Challenge at Dude Time Doodles! Ferald Sleepwalking

Yup! Some people have problems sleeping but Ferald Sleepwalking by Squigglefly's new artist, Keith Williams, can do it with his eyes closed and the turtles in the creek will vouch for that ability! The sleeping Ferald is my inspiration for the new challenge that starts today at Squigglefly. Holley's Hobbists are hosting and the challenge is to use polkadots on your card! So think dots and join us this week for Squigglefly's challenge!  I must give a special thank you shout out to Holly of Hog Wild About Stamping for suggesting the cute sentiment for Ferald! Thanks Holly!

Davey Dunderton UK Tour

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has been busy adding to the Dunderton clan with the newest family member Davey Dunderton, Derek Dunderton brother and unhappily, Deirdery Dunderton's brother-in-law! Davey D., as he prefers to be called, is 'the Dunderheads' bass player and lead singer. After many Wednesday night gigs at a local tavern, the band managed to scrap enough cash together to hit the road for the Davey Dunderton UK Tour, much to Deirdery's and the patrons at 'The Frog and Foghorn' relief! The bad news though is that Davey D. had to telephone his brother late last night for enough money to get him home! Please don't tell Deirdery!

Vintage Silver Lustre

I must apologize for the poor quality of my picture, it absolutely does not do justice to the spectacular beauty of Vintage Silver Lustre cardstock that I used from the PaperTemptress. A set of dies, a piece of ribbon and some pearls is all that is needed to complete the card. I wish you could see its elegance in person!

The oh so handsome tomcat Mojo, from Just Inklined, is like most cats, a connoisseur of food. He also has a lot to say about what he wants to eat, what he doesn't want to eat and at what time he expects you to serve him! If you want to stay on Mojo's good side, you will obey his rules!

There is still time to apply for a position on the Just Inklined design team to create with their wonderful images. For all the details, please visit here.

Full Moon

I have so many birthdays to celebrate in September and one of the birthdays is for my sweet and very handsome grandson. He's such a tiny tot standing over six feet tall and solid as a rock! Like all of my grandchildren he loves dogs so when I saw Full Moon by Squigglefly's fabulous and gifted artist, Lynne Stansbery, I knew I found the perfect image and sentiment for him.

Hank Holla

A new challenge to use two or more shades of blue begins today at Dude Time Doodles. For my card, I used Hank Holla which also comes with a bowl of popcorn but I ate that instead! I wanted to show my support for Penn State football and the young students that must bear the blunt of the punishment that has been handed down.

Get your blues going for a dude and join the challenge and you might win three image of your choice from Bonibleaux Designs. For more fun in blue please stop by and visit the Dude and the Dudettes!

Musical Digital Paper

Recently my youngest daughter undertook the task of being a long-term substitute teacher at a high school in Okinawa. Since I always want to be my children's number one cheer leader, when I saw the Musical digital paper pack at SassyDesigns, I knew the piano keys would be headed to Okinawa for one extra-special teacher to wish her success!

Night Nurse Nina

I'm convinced that fiendish caregivers such as Night Nurse Nina, a Doctor Digi's House of Stamps freebie, takes a certain delight in entering a patient's room once they are certain that the patient has been asleep for at least fifteen minutes. Then and only then will she proceed to take that sick person's temperature, blood pressure and insist they sit on the bedpan that has been properly chilled to 40 degrees! Fortunately, such nurses are rare and easily identified by their red high heels and carrying a syringe.

Tennis Ball Anyone

If you've ever had the good fortune to love a golden, you know you are blessed! Since I've been so blessed, it is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to Tennis Ball Anyone from Squigglefly's wonderful and oh so very talented Lynne Stansbery, that is being released today! When I first saw this image, my heart literally smiled all over my face since all golden retrievers are very special to me especially the seven goldens that have shared my home, my heart and my life! What is doubly thrilling for me is that Tennis Ball Anyone was created for me! So a very huge shout out and a humongous thank you to Lynne for this beautiful, true to life image of a golden retriever that incorporates so many characteristics of this awesome breed of four-legged friends.  I would be remiss if I did not also tell you that the background paper that I used is a freebie from Squigglefly!
